Though the ongoing refurbishment of the house slowed during the school year, the following facility upgrades were accomplished with minimal impact on those living in the house:
- Renovated trash enclosure with metal gates
- Resurfaced sidewalk and accompanying brickwork along Gayley and Strathmore
