On a 2017 December night at the home of Michael Cooper (EP 781) and his wife Melanie, 46 brothers and their significant others met to share the season and revel in the bond forged at 601 Gayley Ave.
Brother Fred Brady (EP 800) led the benediction and reminded those in attendance that they share 50 years together as individual friends and brothers. Through various gatherings such as the Cooper’s wonderful holiday party we are all reminded of the true meaning of fraternity and the opening prose of our shared creed as written by Walter J. Sears: “To believe in the life of love; to win in the fresh morning of our youth the loyal love of faithful friends, who will go with us unmoved into the darkening shadows of life’s closing day; and so to seek and to find, to have and to hold the friendships that will abide.”
