Navy Seal Brother Speaks at Black Knight

Sigma Nu was honored to welcome brother Charles T. Wolf (EP 1181) home to 601 Gayley on May 4th as the featured speaker of the 2013 Black Knight Reunion.

Captain Charles Thomas Wolf is a native of Wisconsin and a current resident of California. He was commissioned via UCLA NROTC in 1985 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition\ SEAL training with class 137 in 1986. From August of 2010 to December of 2011, he was assigned to the Joint Staff as the Deputy Director of the Pakistan Afghanistan Coordination Cell.

Captain Wolf is a Joint Specialty Officer, a Harvard Fellow, a non-resident graduate of the Naval War College and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from UCLA.

Previous assignments include:

Commander, Naval Special Warfare Group FOUR, “Commodore” Norfolk, VA. ( Aug 08-Aug 2010)

Deputy Director for Operations, Joint Special Operations Command (Jul 05-Jun 08). Responsible for OPS and Training of selected air, ground, and maritime special mission units.

Commanding Officer SEAL Team TEN, Plank Owner. (Apr 02- Jun 04). Commander NSWTF Afghanistan and as NSW Squadron Commander, Naval Special Warfare Unit TWO.

Special Operations Advisor to Commander Second Fleet. (Jul 00- Apr 02) Responsible for NSW Fleet integration and Carrier Battle Group pre-deployment certification. Deputy Atlantic Fleet Force Protection advisor to the commander for fleet and shore facilities on the Atlantic.

Executive Officer SEAL Team EIGHT. (May 99-Jul 00) Battlegroup / SEAL integration and support to Southern and European theaters.

Special Operations Command Pacific, SOJ5.(Mar 97-May 99) Korea desk officer. Joint Task Force 510 Theater Response Naval Special Warfare Development Group Mobility Squadron Officer in Charge and Boat Development and Mobility Officer. Qualified Officer in Charge Small Craft Fast Support Boat (Oct 90- Oct 93) Element Leader, NSWDG Requirements Officer. (Aug 94-Feb 97)
