In addition to attending the inaugural “Sigma Nu Honors”, Captain Coffee made his presence felt across UCLA as the Sigma Nu Alumni Board coordinated his stay at UCLA’s Luskin hotel, a tour of the new athletic facilities and Hall of Fame, a luncheon with current UCLA ROTC members, and midfield tickets to the Rose Bowl for the Bruins’ brilliant defeat of USC. A special thank you goes to Jerry’s wife Susan for working so closely with our Alumni Board to make this historic visit run so smoothly.
Thanks to Susan’s support for our chapter, Jerry’s relationship with Sigma Nu has never been stronger and, in the years to come, scholarship winners will receive, in addition to the tuition payments, copies of Jerry’s powerful book Beyond Survival.
