Marshall Tuck (EP 1416) is running for the nonpartisan office that oversees California’s Department of Education. Tuck, who served as Eminent Commander 1993-94 went onto Harvard Business School and has spent the last 15 years in education, most recently as Educator-in-Residence. Tuck directed various school improvement efforts with the New Teacher Center (NTC), a nonprofit organization working with school districts to help develop and retain effective teachers and principals.
